Mixer Knife

The K00004 mixer knife fits a Jay-Lor® mixer wagon. They are used at the bottom of the auger flighting. This allows for cleaner side walls and material movement through the auger. This knife, like all Kooima Knives™, is tungsten hard-faced coated for extended wear.

This knife is used similar to the bottom sweep commonly found on other brand mixers. Not all models are equipped with this knife from the factory, it can be added by drilling mounting holes in the auger. The hardware kit for this knife is K00004BK. A visual inspection is the easiest way to determine if the knife is worn.

Being the manufacturer and producing these in our Iowa plant allows us to implement changes and run tests without any delays.
