Serrated Edge Mixer Knife

The K385024 mixer wagon knife fits a variety of mixers, including Supreme™, MaxiMixer™, and Strautmann™ vertical mixer wagons. This knife is designed for mixing feed or rations, especially those used on dairy farms, feedlots, and beef cattle operations. It's perfect for preparing TMR (Total Mixed Ration), where various feed ingredients are thoroughly mixed to ensure even distribution for optimal livestock nutrition.

Made from high carbon base material, the K385024 knife is milled, heat-treated, and tungsten hard face coated for superior durability. The exclusive serrated cutting edge offers a more aggressive cut, which is especially effective for longer-length material, such as bales and feed. The knife’s counter-sunk 3/8" hole makes installation simple and secure. This knife provides cutting performance equal to or better than the OEM knife.

• Install: The knife bolts onto the screw of the mixer wagon.
• Usage: Perfect for mixing feed or rations; replace the knife when it becomes dull.
• Quantity: Typically, 8-12 knives are used per screw, depending on the mixer model.
• Thickness: The knives are 1/4 inch thick, making them ideal for cutting both bales and feed.

• Bale slicer: Use the K385070 bale slicer knife if you're looking to improve cutting efficiency.
• HP insert knife: For two to three times the lifespan, we recommend the K385026HP insert knife for longer-lasting performance.

Mounting hardware is available for each brand of mixer:

• Supreme™ mixers: Use K385024BK (carriage bolts) or KCSBK (counter-sunk bolts).
• MaxiMixer™: Use KMM58 hardware.
• Strautmann™: Use K385015BK bolt kit and K385007BP backing plate.

Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools. Visually inspect the knife for wear, and replace when mixing time increases or cutting efficiency decreases.
