Stalk Roll Knife (Case IH® 2600 and 4000 series)

The K84499693 stalk chopping knife (also known as a snapping roll knife) is used to cut and pull down the corn stalks bringing the corn into the deck plates for harvest. This knife is installed onto the corn head stalk roll. The knife is made to fit:

• Case IH®
  • 2606, 2608, 2608F, 2612
  • 4206, 4208
  • 4406, 4408, 4412, 4416, 4418, 4408F, 4412F
• New Holland® corn heads
  • 99C, 980CF, 980CR
• Replaces Case IH® 84499693 and New Holland® 322591950

Install to factory settings, no special tools are required. Four knives are required per roll. The knives are heat-treated and tungsten carbide coated. They also feature a ground-in edge to retain heat-treat hardness out to the tip of the knife. Visually inspect for wear and replace as needed, poor crop feeding is a good indicator.
