Mixer Knife

Kooima Ag #K385023

Weight: 6.90 lbs
Replaces OEM#: Schuler™ 0-700377

The K385023 mixer wagon knife fits Schuler™ and Vermeer® vertical mixer wagons and is designed for cutting and mixing livestock rations, making it ideal for use on dairy farms, feedlots, and beef cattle operations. This knife is perfect for preparing TMR (Total Mixed Ration), a mixture of various feed ingredients thoroughly blended to ensure even distribution for optimal livestock nutrition.

The K385023 knife is made from high carbon base material, then milled, heat-treated, and tungsten hard face coated for durability and performance. It is 3/8 inches thick, which allows it to perform exceptionally well when mixing feed. The knife bolts onto the screw of the mixer wagon, with 8-12 knives commonly used per screw, depending on the model.

For installation, no special tools are required. Simply use the K385023BK mounting hardware and follow the factory settings. Visually inspect the knives for wear; replace them when they become dull, or if you notice an increase in mixing time.

If you need a knife that offers more cutting performance, we recommend the K700377 knife for more aggressive cutting. For those looking to improve the cutting of bales, the K385070 bale slicer is a great addition.

At Kooima Ag, we are one of the few companies that continuously tests and improves the wear and edge retention of our knives. Manufacturing these knives in our Iowa plant allows us to make quick improvements and run tests without delays. Additionally, the high density of dairies and feedlots near our plant allows us to test our knives year-round in a variety of rations, ensuring they perform to the highest standards.

Great thicker knife option than 1/4”

Nice thicker option than the 1/4” oem . Would still recommend putting backing plates on upper 3-4 knives to protect against heavy or frozen bales in the winter. USA made !
