This part is mainly used on the 7000 series John Deere cutters. It is used as a bumper for the power chute on the kernel processor. This includes the 7180, 7200, 7300, 7400, 7500, 7250, 7280, 7350, 7380, 7450, 7480, 7550, 7580, 7700, 7800, 7750, 7780, 7850, 7950, and 7980. On the 7200, 7300, 7400, 7500, 7700, and 7800. This bumper is also used on the hand rail on the operator platform. 

This part also fits 6000 series John Deere cutters. This includes the 6610, 6710, 6810, 6910, 6650, 6750, 6850, 6950. On the 6610, 6710, 6810, and 6910 machines, the bumper is used on the rear door and on the hand rail on the operator platform.
