Corn Knife (fits 6000 & 7200-7580 series)

The K63136 corn knife will fit all 6000 and 7200-7580 series John Deere® SPFH. This knife is used on the harvester cutter drum to cut the material being harvested. This is considered a corn/maize knife, it has a thinner, harder cutting edge which will last longer unless impacted by an obstruction. There are 48 knives required per drum. Also available in the K63136KIT, corn knife kit.

Each knife is heat-treated and tungsten hard-faced. The cutting edge is ground in for consistent hardness out to the tip of the knife. Install to factory settings, and torque the bolt from 155-200 ft. lbs. Do not install with an impact wrench. Visually inspect for wear, and replace as needed.
