Corn Knife (7700-7980 series)

The K72500 corn knife will fit all wide-throat John Deere® SPFH, including models 7700 - 7980. This knife is used on the harvester cutter drum to cut the material being harvested. This is considered a corn/maize knife. It has a thinner, harder cutting edge which will last longer unless impacted by an obstruction.

Each knife is heat-treated and tungsten hard-faced. The cutting edge is ground in for consistent hardness out to the tip of the knife. Install to factory settings, torque bolt from 155-200 ft. lbs., do not install with an impact wrench. Visually inspect for wear, and replace as needed.
