8000 Wide Smooth Roll

The K14946 smooth roll fits John Deere 8000 series wide throat SPFH, serial number 513822 - 517999. This is the lower rear compression roll, it is used to create a material mat for the cutter drum.

The smooth roll is heat treated. Install the smooth roll to factory settings, no special tools are required. Visually inspect for wear, a ragged-looking cut is a good indicator.
